A Mess, Nonetheless

Are you someone who struggles with the idea of missing out? With wanting to be included in everything and feeling bad when you aren't? You are not alone! Miss and Rachel have been there, and at times still are. They talk about their experiences, how they've battled it in their minds and how we can use the Bible as our greatest tool against it.

Show Notes:

Vereses:

Psalm 27:10 - Even if my father and mother abandon me, the LORD will hold me close.

Phil 4:8  Brothers and sisters, continue to think about what is good and worthy of praise. Think about what is true and honorable and right and pure and beautiful and respected.

The Lord himself goes before you and will be with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged. Deut 31:8

Affirmations:

I say (or have said) I am unlovable, but God says I am forever loved.

“And I am convinced that nothing can ever separate us from God’s love. Neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither our fears for today nor our worries about tomorrow—not even the powers of hell can separate us from God’s love. No power in the sky above or in the earth below—indeed, nothing in all creation will ever be able to separate us from the love of God that is revealed in Christ Jesus our Lord” (Romans 8:38-39).

I have been rejected, but God says I am His!

“Do not fear. I have redeemed you. I have summoned you. You are mine” (Isaiah 43:1).

I say I am alone, but God says He is always with me.

“…Do not be afraid or discouraged. For the Lord your God is with you wherever you go” (Joshua 1:9)

Challenge: When you have feelings of fomo, loneliness, or rejection, ask yourself, “What am I believing, and what does God say about me?”
